Unboxing with Care: A Shared Ritual

To help us support you effectively in the rare instance of transit-related damage or an incorrect delivery, we humbly request you to follow a simple yet essential step when receiving your parcel:

Parcel Opening Requirement (Mandatory Unboxing Video)

Just as we capture the final piece with care before shipping, we kindly ask you to record a video while opening your parcel. This video must clearly show the unboxing process from the moment the package is opened, without any cuts or edits.

This video is a mandatory requirement for any replacement claim. Without it, we are unable to assess the situation fairly and, hence, cannot proceed with a replacement.

We trust you understand that this practice, while simple, helps preserve the trust and transparency that form the foundation of our craft and commerce.

Replacement Requests: Honoring Your Experience

Although each of our pieces is meticulously packed and handled, there may be rare moments when a product arrives damaged or a mismatch occurs. In such cases, we offer replacements only—with our heartfelt apologies and sincere commitment to making it right.

To request a replacement, please follow these steps:

Step 2: Verification & Approval

Once we receive your video and message, our team will verify the details. If your claim is found valid (i.e., due to damage during transit or an incorrect item sent), we will initiate the replacement process.

Please know that this process is rooted in fairness, and we evaluate each case with empathy and honesty.

Replacement Period

We offer a 7-day replacement period from the date of receiving your parcel. During this time, you may request a replacement for products that are damaged or incorrect. After this period, we will not be able to accept replacement claims.

Please ensure that you contact us within 7 days of receiving the product to be eligible for a replacement.

Please Note: No Returns, Only Replacements

As a policy, we do not offer returns for any of our Lippan art pieces. This decision is made with deep consideration and respect for the labor-intensive nature of our craft.

Each artwork is created not in bulk, but in small, intentional batches, often customized to your choice. Reintroducing returned pieces into our collection compromises the value we place on authenticity and craftsmanship.

We do, however, offer replacements in the following rare scenarios:

• If the product arrives damaged during shipping
• If an incorrect product is delivered by mistake

In all such cases, video proof is essential (as outlined above), and your request must be submitted within 7 days of receiving the order.

Timeline for Replacements

Once a claim is approved:

• The replacement will be processed and dispatched within 5 to 7 working days
• In certain cases where artisans must recreate the piece, the time may extend slightly—but we will keep you informed throughout
• Please allow for minor delays during festivals or public holidays, as our artisan teams observe these sacred times with family and community.

Custom Orders & Handmade Variations

We respectfully inform our patrons that customized or made-to-order items are not eligible for replacement, except in cases of damage during delivery.

We also request you to embrace the natural irregularities in our handmade products. These may include:

• Slight asymmetry in patterns
• Mirror placements that differ from sample images
• Subtle changes in tone or texture

Such details are hallmarks of authenticity and not grounds for replacement. In fact, they are the very reason many of our customers cherish our art—each piece is truly one-of-one.

Return Shipping Costs

In the event of an approved replacement:

• Majikhan Mudart will bear the return shipping cost if the issue is on our end (e.g., damage or incorrect item)
• If, for any other exceptional reason, a customer ships a product back voluntarily, the return courier charges will be the customer’s responsibility

All logistics will be coordinated kindly and clearly by our team.
